Hooray!

I have a little job!  Nothing massive (duh!  That's why it's a little job!) but it's 1 hour a week typing a manuscript for a local man who's had this book going around in his head since 1945...and he started putting it on paper 10 years ago...basically he needs someone to tell him "that's enough!" and type it out, because he keeps making changes...hence the 10 years!  My job (apart from the typing) is to be objective...and firm!

We met today (after having first talked on the phone on Tuesday night) and he's a lot of fun, we had a good laugh!  He's old enough to be my grandfather, and he reminds me a lot of my Dear Nanna....sniff!

First paid appointment is this Friday at 10am - wish me all the best!

Thanks, and yeah! I'm hoping it will be lots of fun, and very interesting. It's a book that he's been working on in his head forever, and it's difficult to explain what it's about - he says he's a Christian, but he's not entirely 100% certain of his beliefs, so this book is to convince him as much as anything else - he's aiming it at people whose faith is not necessarily straight down the line. We had an excellent theological discussion yesterday!
